Brian Williams Foundation

Brian Williams was a former Player, Coach, President of Ipswich YM RUFC, President of Eastern Counties Rugby Union and was the 100th President of the RFU.

He believed that grassroots rugby should be available to all - regardless of ability or background.

In 2022 the Brian Williams Foundation was set up in his honour to help young people play and enjoy rugby in times of hardship.

The Foundation financially supports young people to play YM rugby in the form of a grant.

This is made possible by the generosity of Ipswich YM RUFC supporters and the wider grassroots community.
